Team restructuring at VW Fleet Services UK
Volkswagen Fleet services UK has recently
undergone a team restructuring in order to increase their services
within the leasing market.
As part of the restructure, Ed Hummel, who
previously worked as regional fleet sales manager, has been
promoted to the new role of national contract hire and leasing
manager, taking responsibility for the leasing market and the
dealer direct sales programme.
Taking over the regional fleet sales manager
role will be Andy Bateman, who will join the fleet services team
from the operations department.
Hummel will be supported by two regional
contract hire and leasing managers, Melanie Miles and Peter
Gallier, as well as Kevin Eastwood, fleet after sales manager, who
has worked within the team for 12 years.
Eastwood will look after all Volkswagen’s
fleet after sales programmes. The team will be joined by two direct
sales performance managers, Jon Richardson and Mike Peach.
Vince Kinner, head of fleet services at
Volskwagen UK, commented: “I’m delighted to be widening Ed’s
responsibilities. He has always been a valued member of the team
and will complement Michael O’Shea who joined us in December as
national fleet sales manager.
“I am excited to have completed the team
restructure as it means we can now confidently go forward with a
clear strategy to increase our share of the true fleet market.”
