Card experts from leading financial institutions gathered in
Dubai on 22-23 March for the region's first summit on prepaid
cards, Prepaid Summit: Middle East. Attracting over 150 delegates ,
with major banks, retailers, telcos and vendors in attendance. The
summit has already proved to be the pre-eminent event in the Middle
East
Designed specifically to improve business performance and
increase profits, Prepaid Summit: Middle East 2010 enabled you to
design, build and launch a successful prepaid programme. The event
provided you with access to banks who have successfully implemented
prepaid programmes. Gaining insight through case studies,
presentations and networking opportunities.
Unlike other conferences, Prepaid Summit: Middle East 2010 was
content-led, and had its foundations in VRL's industry publications
Cards International and Electronic Payments International,
delivering senior attendees and great networking opportunities.
VRL presented exclusive research, sponsored by MasterCard on the
Middle East prepaid market. The research covered the UAE, KSA and
Egypt, and was conducted with our partner TNS. It focused on
consumer attitudes to prepaid and their propensity to purchase key
products.
Prepaid is a global industry and VRL is proud to be at the
forefront. Having launched Europe’s first prepaid event in 2005, we
are now looking forward to our next Prepaid Summit: Mumbai on the
21-22 September, followed by the 6th Prepaid Summit
Europe, which will take place in Milan 12-13 October. Next
year’s Prepaid: Middle East event is already confirmed for March
2011 and with sponsors including Visa and Network International
participating we believe we have created a truly not-to-be missed
event.
