MetraTech launches e-billing solution

Agreements-based billing and compensation solutions provider
MetraTech has launched a multi-tenant software-as-a-service
(SaaS)-based billing solution Metanga on Microsoft Windows’ Azure
platform.
The Metanga solution is a key component in
helping Microsoft customers monetise the Windows Azure offerings by
facilitating its adoption to broad audiences, while making
Microsoft’s cloud platform more relevant.
The service enables management of product
catalogues, pricing, promotions, invoicing, customer enrollment,
customer self-care and payment capture for industry verticals,
including cloud, business-to-business (B2B), consumptive media,
tele-presence, broadband and smart grid.
“Billing management is one of the automation
functions for the cloud that our ISV partners request most often,”
said Jeff Lear, director of national ISV sales at Microsoft.
The solution is available immediately,
providing Microsoft’s 78,000 independent software vendor (ISV) a
quick path to cloud-based enrollment, billing and customer
care.
